Storyline:
With headquarters in Quantico, Va., behavior analysis (BAU) is a subsection of the FBI. Called the local police departments to assist in solving crimes of a serial nature and / or extremely violent where the offender is unknown (referred to by the Unit as the unknown subject or theme for short), the BAU is use the controversial scientific art of profiling to track and catch perpetrators. Profiling involves coming up with basic characteristics of offenders and victims (called Victimology), using evidence from the case and respond to information about historical precedents and psychological analyzes as a means to solve the case. Due to the nature of the work undertaken by business as usual - it's time and psychologically demanding - its members are fiercely loyal to the Unit and to its other members.
